Galleries 1 & 2 are pictures of a Liebherr LT1090 style crane being loaded
and rigged to a railroad flatcar. As there was no endramp at the load point, we
hired a crane for the day to lift the Liebherr onto the flatcar. All the rail
logistics, hiring cranes, rigging, payments to railroads, etc. were performed by
Hiwide Transport. Transit time was about 7 days from Indiana to South Dakota via
the CSX and the BNSF railroads. As you can tell from the number of pics, we are
proud of our rail rigging skills.
